Many laptops get replaced every few years due to the needs of performance improvement or mechanical failures. Most people do not recycle their used laptops because of the worries of loss or leakage of personal information. These laptops would become wasted opportunities since there are many people in society who need laptops for learning but cannot afford one due to financial incapability. In order to help those who are in need, Fortress is now collaborating with Caritas to launch a laptop transformation program. Customers can donate used laptops at any Fortress store and get discounts or rewards! The donated laptops will be sent to the Caritas Computer Workshop for safe and proper data destruction, repair or recycling. The successfully restored laptops will be donated to those in need which provide them countless learning opportunities.
