2025 Popular Travel Tracker Shopping Guide & Recommendation
If you are going on a trip and want to find things quickly, you need a tracker! Lots of devices are now available, including mini trackers, GPS trackers and Apple’s own AirTag. You can simply attach to any item and track it with your smartphone.
You may attach smart trackers on keys, backpacks and even wallets. They come in handy that you may forgot where you put them! Smart trackers can guide you to the location of your item by sending alerts and help reduce the chance of losing them. Check out the table below to compare the functions of different trackers.
Cathay Pacific has fully implemented Apple’s AirTag “Share Item Location” feature. Travelers can use the “Find My” app on their Apple device to generate a shared item location link and email it to Cathay Pacific’s baggage service team, enabling them to share the location of AirTags or “Find My” network accessories. This allows easy tracking of lost or delayed luggage, speeding up its recovery. The feature leverages Apple’s global “Find My” network, comprising billions of devices, to anonymously detect nearby devices via Bluetooth. The shared item location automatically terminates once the traveler retrieves their luggage, and the link expires after seven days. The “Share Item Location” feature is currently only available on Apple devices running iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, macOS 15.2, or later versions.
