New attraction in Tokyo - Shibuya Sky

The Shibuya Sky is a new yet iconic attraction in Tokyo, located at the rooftop of Shibuya Scramble Square. It is composed of three areas - The Sky Gate, The Sky Stage and The Sky Gallery. You can catch the best views of Tokyo at this 360 open-air observation deck, and even see the Mt Fuji and Tokyo Skytree on a clear day. You can relax on the cloud hammock and enjoy the breath-taking views at the same time.

Apart from the Shibuya Sky, there are a good amount of fashion brands, souvenir stores, restaurants and exhibitions in the Shibuya Scramble Square, you can surely spend a whole day there!

Tickets can be purchased on the 14th floor before access to the indoor section on the 45th floor and the outdoor observatory on the 46th floor. It is also a particularly good photo spot that provides a panoramic view of the city.

New shopping attraction - Miyashita Park in Shibuya

Not only the Shibuya Sky, Miyashita Park is another new addition to Shibuya. The renovated Miyashita Park is one of the focus projects during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to facilitate and boost the tourism in Tokyo. This glitzy new three-storey building is home to a shopping mall, a variety of restaurants and cafés, as well as a hotel. Shoppers would be amazed by all the well-known names, fashion brands and goodies shops in the mall.

The spacious rooftop park offers you a chilling break area, you can grab a drink and light food and enjoy on the open lawn after shopping.

No matter how much you like it, you can find shopping places everywhere in Tokyo. Japan has a mandatory plastic bag charge in act now, don’t forget to bring your own shopping bag to contribute to a greener planet, and a larger suitcase of course.

New Attraction - Tokyo Disneyland 40th Anniversary and Toy Story Hotel

The Disneyland promises to be the ‘happiest place on Earth’, also known as the best place to hang out with families, friends and partners, you can feel the vibe prior to stepping into the gate of the resort.

2023 marks the 40th anniversary of Tokyo Disneyland, a series of celebrations with the theme Dream-Go-Round are coming up April this year to next March. The Disney Harmony In Color Parade kicks off the celebration with a new arrangement and dancing performance, you can meet multiple Disney characters by just a few steps away! The limited music performance of Club House Beat will bring you the performance with Disney characters in new outfits. Regardless if you are a Disney fan or not, the daily firework performance Light the Night is the best way to conclude your Disney day that brings the park alive with colorful fireworks accompanied by Disney songs and music.

Taking pictures with the Disney characters is a definite to-do in the resort, but what is better than taking the photo with an instant camera and get an autograph from your beloved character on the spot?

The Toy Story Hotel is an ALWAYS HOT in Disneyland! The hotel is in a colourful and funky colour tone and surrounds guests with a larger-in-life world to echo with the movie story. Woody and Buzz Lightyear are expecting you at the entrance of the hotel to give you a big warm welcome! Hotel rooms are all Andy’s room, the iconic blue-sky-and-cloud wallpaper and other familiar items will ensure you a sweet dream in Andy’s room.

To get ready for Disneyland, you may spend more time on your OOTD. Even most of the hotels are equipped with basic personal care products but it is always better with your own gears.

New way to experience Mt Fuji - Camping!

After seeing the busy urban life of Tokyo, a camping experience in the countryside will heal your body and soul in the majestic mother nature. With less than 2 hours away from Tokyo, there are multiple campsites in Shizuoka and Yamanashi that provide a magnificent view of Mt Fuji, setting up a tent in the middle of the wilderness for the utmost immersive Mt Fuji experience. Camping newbies can also experience the ultimate camping fun in the glamping sites - you just need to reserve a tent with foods from the operators, bring a minimal quantity of outdoor products, nothing can stop you to enjoy the great view of the mountain.

Another new and super IG-able way to see Mt Fuji is in the city of Fujiyoshida, where is just two hours away from Tokyo. Fujiyoshida is the perfect place to enjoy the stunning views of Japan’s most iconic peak, in a different city view. The compression of the mountain and classic Japanese street bring you a new and incredible view of Mt Fuji.

The Fujimi Kotoku Park nearby is classed as the secret spot to take stunning pictures of Mt Fuji, you can see the mountain from a wide angle and view the concrete jungle of Fujiyoshida from a level. A view with cherry blossom and maple leaf can also be captured in spring and autumn.

If you also want to see the icon from the plane - you can choose the window seat on the left side of the plane in your departure flight from Hong Kong, and take the right side when you fly back to Hong Kong from Tokyo.
