

Romantic spots to see maple leaves in Fall
It is officially autumn! While it is still warm and hot in Hong Kong in October, friends in the cities around us are already enjoying their autumn. If you are fond of autumn, how about signing yourself up to a trip for maple leaves?
Tokyo - Showa Memorial Park
Tokyo has a history of being famous for maple leaves, which is also one of the favourite travel destinations among Hong Kong people. Showa Memorial Park is the biggest park in Tokyo and one of the great spots for the leaves. There are different areas in the park including the water area, plaza and the forest area, which is perfect for a casual walk or riding a bike. The park will hold a lighting event in November to celebrate the fall season, different colours of light will be jamming in the park and give a different mood to the night visitors.
You would not want to miss out on the photo opportunity for maple leaves. Tokyo - Mount Takao
Another popular spot is Mount Takao in Tokyo, which is only one hour away by train from the city centre of Tokyo. The moment you step out from the train station, you are surrounded by the romantic colours. You can take a cable car ride to the middle of the mountain, followed by a 40-minute walk to the top of the mountain. The Maple Festival is an exclusive event that only happens in autumn, you can see different performances and learn more about traditional Japanese culture during the visit there!
Osaka - Mino Park
The Mino Waterfall is the signature of Mino Park. While the reds and yellows are dancing along with the silky water coming down from the waterfall, it hypes up your trip with the spectacular view. You will also find a Mino-exclusive popular snack on the way to the waterfall - fried maple leaves, which is tempura in a leaf shape, supporting an all-sense experience for the trip including your tummy!

If you are a fan of korean drama, do not miss out on a visit to the Stonewall Road in Deoksugung Palace. We are sure you will recognize a film or two from there because it is a famous filming location for korean dramas.
