Recommended feeding amount
Switch to Wellness Pet Healthy Recipes
It is important to slowly transition your puppy from his/her current diet to the Wellness Pet Diet as it takes a few days for the body to adjust to the new nutritional content. Switch brands and gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness Pet Diet each day, and after 7 days you can feed 100% Wellness Pet Diet.
Determine feeding ratio
Refer to the chart below and divide the total number of cups fed per day by the total number of feedings per day to determine the serving size. Always have a bowl of clean water ready for use. Wellness Pet Health believes in feeding a mix of dry food and canned food to help increase the amount of water your puppy gets in his diet at any time. Nutrition is only part of the equation! Be sure to give your puppy plenty of love, plenty of exercise, and regular visits to the veterinarian to help ensure overall health.
Recommended feeding ratio
Every dog is slightly different, so the best amount to feed may vary depending on age, size, and activity level. The following information is just preliminary advice, please adjust if necessary. Mixed Feeding: If feeding canned food, reduce amount by 1/8 cup (16 g) of dry food for every 2 teaspoons (tbsp).
