We believe that rendered foods such as chicken, turkey, or lamb provide a very economical source of concentrated protein, but we believe that dehydrated chicken is better. RAWZ uses only dehydrated chicken as a natural, concentrated protein source. Our dehydrated chicken has a higher P.E.R. value (protein efficiency ratio) than packaged meals. It is cooked gently at a lower temperature, helping to retain protein and amino acids, keeping the protein in a more natural state

RAWZ contains 12% fat, which we feel is a reasonable level for today's moderately active pets. Most fats are added to pet foods to enhance palatability. RAWZ consists of lightly cooked meat and is delicious without the need for added fat

Moderate fat and low carbohydrate content prevents obesity and diabetes in pets
