The rice vook has a lot of function but its hard to understand it since the manual and video content available are all in cantonese. I understand that philips is marketing this to HKG, but it also needs to take into account that HKG is an international city. So, for english speakers, you are better off buying a regular rice cooker, than something with so many functions because you wont know how to use more than half of it.
