Grandma Mae's Country Naturals was founded in 2007 by a group of pet industry veterans who care about animal rights, and the brand name pays tribute to our favorite Grandma Mae - Grandma Mae (1899-1985). Deeply influenced by Grandma Mei, we firmly believe that pet health starts with a natural diet, so our formulas are jointly developed by authorities in animal nutrition in the United States. Our first nutritionist holds a PhD in animal nutrition from the University of Illinois and has been focusing on the field of animal nutrition for 35 years. He is also one of the originators of using natural and fresh ingredients. Following his retirement, we now work closely with a pet nutritionist with a PhD in Nutrition and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University to implement the brand spirit of natural pet food.
