Adult dogs can be fed once or twice a day, depending on your preference. For puppies 6 months or younger, it is recommended to divide the total daily feeding amount into 3 equal meals; for puppies 6 to 12 months old, 2 equal meals. For younger puppies, it is recommended to feed the maximum amount within the recommended range on the package first, and then gradually reduce the amount based on actual needs as the puppy grows older.
Female dogs need to be fed 50% more food in the last 3 weeks of pregnancy; during lactation, the food required is 2 times the usual amount, and should be fed 3 to 4 times a day.
