BUSHNELL Bushnell R3 8x42 Binoculars (R3-842)

Configured for versatility and built to stand up to the elements, these Bushnell R3 8x42 Binoculars show you distant targets in rich detail. Between the fully antireflective multicoated lenses and the BAK4 prisms, you can expect a bright image with clarity and contrast, even in lower light. The lenses also feature EXO barrier coatings to repel water and dirt, while the IPX7-rated waterproof housing is nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging from condensation. The binoculars have a socket for attaching an optional tripod adapter and a Vault Lite chest pack is included for a secure, comfortable carry.

Optical Performance

BAK4 prism glass delivers a round exit pupil plus a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
Antireflection fully multicoated optics maximize light transmission and improve contrast and color fidelity
Overall 80% light transmission
Proprietary EXO Barrier exterior lens coatings allow oil, dirt, and sap to be removed without leaving smudges or residue
325' field of view at 1000 yards

Large slip-resistant center focusing wheel is easy to manipulate in cold and wet weather, even while wearing gloves
Right-eye dioptric correction allows user to compensate for optical prescription to produce sharper views
Adapter socket mounts the binocular to a tripod head or QR plate with an optional adapter for hands-free use
20mm eye relief improves viewing comfort while minimizing eye strain
