Additional Charges for Stair Carry
A1. Stairs Between Floors (Buildings Without Lifts)
Charges are calculated per floor. Each item increases by HK$30 per floor; washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and TVs 70" or above increase by HK$50 per floor. Examples are shown below:

A2. Continuous Stairs Not Between Floors
Applicable to consecutive steps not between storeys, charged in units of every 10 steps. Each item increases by HK$30 per unit; washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, and TVs 70" or above increase by HK$50 per unit (first 9 steps are free).

- If both A1 and A2 occur during the same delivery, charges for both will apply.
- Two or more steps are considered stairs.
- The stair charges above do not cover spiral staircases within a unit. If such service is required, the delivery staff will determine the applicable surcharge based on actual conditions.

Additional Charges for Carrying Over Obstacles

- "Carrying over obstacles" refers to situations where items cannot be wheeled directly to the designated placement area, or must be lifted over objects (such as toilet bowls, cabinets, etc.) that are 1 foot (30 cm) or more above the ground.
Additional Charges When Vehicle Cannot Reach Delivery Point
Applicable to walled villages, village houses, or other locations inaccessible by vehicle, where items must be manually carried to the delivery point and the walking distance exceeds 100 metres or takes more than 3 minutes.

- The parking location of the delivery vehicle shall be determined based on the actual road, safety and accessibility conditions at the delivery location. The delivery vehicle may be parked at the nearest safe and accessible location, including but not limited to the following circumstances:
- The vehicle cannot make a safe U-turn.
- The vehicle would be required to reverse for more than 50 metres.
- The access road is not sufficiently wide for the safe operation of the delivery vehicle.
- The road is subject to height, weight, vehicle type or other traffic restrictions.
- Road conditions, surrounding environment or traffic conditions present safety risks.
- The road is obstructed by other vehicles, construction works or other obstacles.
- The delivery team reasonably considers that proceeding further may pose a risk to personnel, the vehicle or the goods.
If the walking distance is 200 metres or more, the delivery staff will determine an additional charge based on the actual distance for delivery or old appliance removal.
- All charges above are calculated on a one-way basis (e.g., delivery and old appliance removal are counted as two separate trips).
- Delivery staff will not unbox items during delivery. If the customer wishes to have items unboxed and agrees to bear responsibility for any damage, they must sign their consent on the delivery note.
- Delivery staff will determine at their discretion whether and how additional delivery or old appliance removal charges apply based on actual conditions.
- For some villages, customers may be required to guide the delivery courier to the residence. Alternatively, customers can choose to meet at a designated location for delivery(excluding Apple products).
- Fortress reserves the right to amend any terms of the delivery service. In the event of any dispute, Fortress's decision shall be final.
The following are not covered by this service:
- Disconnection of water pipes, gas pipes, or electrical wiring.
- Moving or dismantling any items within the customer's premises.
- Items that are too large to fit through the entrance or interior of the customer's premises.
